What's New From NDDIC?
The National Digestive Diseases Information Clearinghouse (NDDIC) is pleased to announce several new and updated publications. All NDDIC materials are available online at www.niddk.nih.gov.
New Materials
- Barrett's Esophagus. This fact sheet reviews the normal function of the esophagus and discusses the relationship between gastroesophageal reflux disease (GERD) and Barrett's esophagus, as well as Barrett's esophagus and cancer. Diagnosis, screening, and treatment are also covered.
- What I Need to Know About Colon Polyps. This easy-to-read booklet defines and explains the causes, symptoms, and treatments for colon polyps.
